Subject to your compliance with these Terms, we grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the Services solely for your personal and non-commercial use.
You may upload screenplays in PDF format to use our Services. You retain ownership of your screenplay, but by uploading it to our platform, you grant us a license to process, store, and convert the file into an audio format for your use.
We will store your screenplay securely while it remains in your account. If you choose to delete the screenplay from your account, it will be permanently deleted from our systems.
You agree not to upload any content that:
We reserve the right to remove or disable access to any content that violates these Terms.
When you subscribe to Screenplayer, you will be allocated tokens based on the subscription tier you choose. Each token allows you to convert one screenplay into an audio file (up to 180 pages in length).
Tokens do not roll over to the next month. Any unused tokens will expire at the end of each monthly subscription period. This is a "use it or lose it" system, and expired tokens cannot be redeemed.
Tokens cannot be refunded or exchanged for monetary value. Once tokens are issued, they must be used within the applicable subscription period. Expired tokens are forfeited.
We reserve the right to modify or discontinue the token system at any time, but will provide notice to subscribers if changes affect their existing token balances.
Subscriptions automatically renew at the end of each billing period unless you cancel your subscription before the renewal date. You may cancel your subscription at any time through your account settings. If you cancel, your access to the Services will continue until the end of the current billing cycle, but no further charges will be applied.
Our Services may use third-party providers, including for payment processing and AI-based services. We are not responsible for any failures or issues that may arise from the use of such third-party services. By using our Services, you agree to the terms of service and privacy policies of these third parties.
All intellectual property rights in the Services, including software, content, and trademarks, are owned by Screenplayer or our licensors. You may not use any of our trademarks or content without prior written permission.
By uploading content to our platform, you represent and warrant that you own or have the necessary rights to upload the content. You grant Screenplayer a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to process and display your content solely for the purposes of providing the Services.
We strive to ensure that the Services are available at all times, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted access to the Services. We may perform maintenance or face unexpected outages, and we are not liable for any disruption. We will make reasonable efforts to inform you of planned maintenance or outages.
